Erasmus+ Project - The Animation
Hi,
for the final project for Acquisition and Pipeline, we had to make a video advertising an area/service of the university that we wanted to improve. This is a group project.
We chose as a theme the Erasmus+ Project because we think that it's an experience that many students would enjoy. The Erasmus experience opens the mind of students and improves their possibilities work wise.
We basically sketched all the assets that we were going to use a hundred times, then later Jibraeel vectorised them with Illustrator.
We did a lot of concept art for the map, icons for each country, and character (which will be exposing our idea and give the info).

The final sketches for the timing, framing and layout of our animation:
I am not very much happy about some small mistakes that are in the animation right now, like the font (we couldn't download the font we chose from Lukas' computer, the rendering one), some typo stuff, like the University of Greenwich written with all small letters, the framing could have been done a bit better.
Also we should have included the credits.
With some more time, I would have liked to animate the face of the character a well.
We really just calculated time wrong, as well as having other deadlines. The little mistakes will surely make all of us grow and I think we will be much better prepared for the next project.
Overall I am still satisfied with the result and I think it looks nice, clear and professional. (I am a bit of a perfectionist so I really pointed at every mistake we made lol)
Bye bye,
Eleonora

"Studying abroad is a central part of Erasmus+ and has been shown to have a positive effect on later job prospects. It is also an opportunity to improve language skills, gain self-confidence and independence and immerse yourself in a new culture.
Erasmus+ also offers the chance to combine studying abroad with a traineeship.
Opportunities are available for students at Bachelor, Master or Doctoral levels."

This is our final animation:
We had to do a lot of research for it. We chose to make a video that would be just vector animation, as we thought it would be better to make what we are advertising simpler to understand.
All of us together worked on the storyboard, that kept changing until the end.
Here some sketches:
We really did a lot of preproduction, in order to make sure everything will work when animating, next time though we will still need to start producing stuff before as this time we finished quite tight to the deadline ( :/ ).We basically sketched all the assets that we were going to use a hundred times, then later Jibraeel vectorised them with Illustrator.
